Coal-Drop will deliver your palletised fuel to most mainland addresses in the United Kingdom. We use accredited haulage companies within the Palletways Network or The Pallet Network to offer our customers a professional and reliable delivery service. Whether you order one pallet or ten pallets, you can be sure you will get a great all-round service. 

Depending on your locality, Coal-Drop and its partners aim to deliver your order within 5 working days, with most deliveries ariving in 3 days or less.

Delivery Conditions

Our efficient nationwide delivery service allows us to ship pallets of quality smokeless fuel and logs around the United Kingdom so that we can provide people with cost-effective domestic heating fuel solution.

In order for us to do this, our customers must provide us with correct information about the delivery point, at the time of placing an order. If these requirements are not met then a home delivery may not be possible and customers will be liable for re-delivery charges.

Most standard deliveries arrive on an 18 tonne rigid vehicle but smaller vehicles 7.5t can be used if the delivery address can't accommodate the larger vehicle.

For a successful delivery to take place, the following conditions must be understood and met:

  • all deliveries of fuel are kerbside deliveries.
  • the ground at the delivery point MUST be flat, level and solid. It must not be on a hill, slope or an incline.
  • the driver is not responsible for unpacking or stacking the bags of fuel, only unloading it from the vehicle to the kerbside.
  • delivery can't be made on a gravel or unstable driveway.
  • the customer must inform us of any vehicle access restrictions that would prevent a delivery by an 18 tonne lorry (about the same size as a typical bin truck). This may include narrow roads, driveways, gated areas etc.
  • someone must be present at the delivery address to receive and sign for the delivery unless an alternative pre-arrangement has been made.

* Most mainland addresses are eligible for free delivery. Some postcodes require additional charges which are set by our haulage partners. These locations cover some parts of the Scottish Highlands and inner-London. See a full list of postcodes that require an additional charge below.

Postcode Exclusions to Free Delivery

Most postcodes in the UK qualify for free delivery but sadly some will incur a small charge because they're either in a remote location, geographically difficult to access, within a clean-air zone or overseas. Coal-Drop strives to subsidise this cost as much as possible to provide the best price for its customers. The charge will be applied to your order on the checkout page once you've entered your postcode into the delivery address box.
